Welcome to Yoga Happy Hour!
Yoga Happy Hour evolved from my original desire to teach yoga. I cherish the immediacy that simple poses bring to daily life. The journey back to our true selves may take time yet we can experience the benefits of yoga right now. I love when a student walks away from class feeling refreshed, restored and uplifted. I love how yoga practice places us in direct contact with reality and how a sustained practice opens our hearts to each new life experience.
Yoga has been proven to relieve stress, strengthen muscles, improve posture, increase concentration and enhance awareness. People that practice yoga sometimes find that they sleep better, eat better, breathe better and live as a better version of themselves. Today you’ll find all kinds of people doing yoga: executives, movie stars, artists, college students, small children, athletes, yuppies, cancer patients and my grandmother does yoga, too. Anyone can benefit from yoga and there is a practice for each one of us.
Yoga contributes to the happiness in my life and Yoga Happy Hour is the vehicle for sharing this joy with others. Whether you are a teacher, a student or completely new to yoga, I hope you enjoy this space and allow it to inspire you, too.
