This year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our women's IC event between Canada and the US. The play took place at the beautiful Piping Rock Club and a lovely dinner was shared by all at Nassau Country Club.

The weekend contained great drama right up until Sunday afternoon's deciding doubles matches. Mrs. Gengler must have been in her glory, looking down and seeing Louise Gengler play a super singles match for us and then teaming with her older sister, Margie Smith and win a critical doubles match. The US won back the Gengler Cup from a very good and tenacious Canadian squad.
