  DIRECTIONS

 

from Airport

to germantown cricket club (gcc):

 

Manheim and Morris Streets, Philadelphia

  • Take "to 76" lane out of Airport.

  • Follow signs marked "76 West" and "Central Philadelphia" for 1.6 miles. Then over Platt Bridge.

  • Get in left lane at end of bridge. Turn left and follow "76 West" and "Central Philadelphia" signs about 1.2 miles, through tunnel and up, then merging with 76 West.

  • Follow 76 West signs 6.8 miles. (After 2.8 miles 76 West signs will say "Valley Forge").

  • Take US Route 1 North, Roosevelt Boulevard to second exit, Wissahickon Avenue, NORTH (not the first exit, Wissahickon Avenue, South) Stay on the right, watch for right turn, (Wissahickon Avenue sign) immediately after exit.

  • Keep bearing right to Wissahickon Avenue.

  • Right on Wissahickon Avenue.

  • Right on Wissahickon Avenue 0.4 mile to Manheim (2nd light and gas station).

  • Right on Manheim Street 0.2 mile to GCC on the left.

 

TO Merion Cricket Club (MCC):

From Philadelphia International Airport to Merion Cricket Club at 325 Montgomery Avenue, Haverford
 
  • Exit the airport & follow signs for Interstate 95 south towards Wilmington, DE. (Do not take 95 north towards Philadelphia.)
  • On 95 south, after a few miles, bear to the right & follow signs for Interstate 476 north.  Take this to exit 13 - St. Davids/Villanova. 
  • At the light at the end of the ramp, make a right onto Rte. 30 east towards Villanova & Bryn Mawr. 
  • Go 1/2 mile to a light & take a left onto Rte. 320 north (just past the Villanova Diner on left). 
  • Follow to the second light & make a right onto Montgomery Avenue. 
  • Stay on Montgomery for 2 & 1/2 miles & Merion Cricket Club is on the left.
  • Go through the light at Grays Lane & make the next left at Haverford Station Road & this brings you into the Club. 
  • Make your first left into the parking lot.
  • The Main Desk is located through the second entrance under the archway.
     

TO PHILADELPHIA Cricket Club (PCC)

From the Philadelphia International Airport to Philadelphia Cricket Club 415 W. Willow Grove Ave., Philadelphia 

  • Take I-95 South to 476 North (towards Plymouth Meeting).

  • Go approximately 20 miles to Exit #19 (Germantown Pike East).

  • Take a right onto Germantown Pike.  Germantown Pike will turn into Germantown Avenue. 

  • Follow Germantown Avenue through the Chestnut Hill shopping district to Willow Grove Avenue. 

  • Take a right onto Willow Grove Avenue and proceed to the Club approximately 1/2 mile on the right after the third stop sign (St. Martins Lane).

 

TO Cynwyd Club (CC)

  • From airport, take Interstate 95 North to Route 676 West. 
  • Follw Route 676 West to Interstate 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway).
  • Follow I-76 West to exit 339 for Route 1 South, City Avenue. 
  • Head South on City Avenue approximately 1 mile to Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road).
  • Turn Right onto Route 23 and stay in the right-hand lane. 
  • Where Route 23 turns left, continue straight onto Llandrillo Road.  At first stop sign, bear left onto Trevor Lane.
  • The clubhouse is on your left.

to Philadelphia cricket club :

West Willow Grove Ave, Philadelphia

  • Turn Right Out Of GCC 0.2 Mile To Dead End, Wissahickon Ave.

  • Turn Right For 2.6 Miles To Dead End Allens Lane.

  • Turn Right For 1.3 Miles To Dead End, Germantown Ave. (Trolly Tracks).

  • Turn Left Follow Trolly Tracks For 0.9 Miles To Willow Grove Ave. (Brass Boudour Store On Far Left Corner).

  • Turn Left 0.5 Miles To Philadelphia Cricket On Right Just Past Church

to Merion cricket :

Haverford, Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA 19041

  • Turn Right Out Of GCC 0.2 Mile To Dead End, Wissahickon Ave.

  • Turn Left For 0.2 Mile (Just Past First Stop Light. Look For Route 1 Sign Pointing To Right).

  • Turn Right And Follow Route 1 Access Road (Past Amoco Station) For 0.5 Mile (You Are Paralleling Route 1 South).

  • Enter Route 1 South And Follow Route 1 South Sign For 1.9 Miles Thru Interstate Maze Exiting Left Onto Route 1 South (City Ave).

  • Turn Right On City Ave (Past Holiday Inn Hotel On Left) For 1.1 Miles To Light (The 6th Light On City Ave) At Conshohocken State Road (Sonoco Station On Corner).

  • Turn Right On Conshohocken State Road For 0.4 Mile And Bear Left Over Bridge To Montgomery Ave Straight Ahead. Stay On Montgomery Ave For 4.3 Miles To Merion Cricket Club On Right

 

from Philadelphia cricket club(PCC)

to Germantown cricket club (gcc):

 

Manheim and Morris Streets, Philadelphia

  • Turn right out of PCC onto Willow Grove Avenue, past Chestnut Hill Academy (CHA) to stop sign at Cherokee St.

  • Turn left and continue 1/3 mile to stop sign at Mermaid Lane.

  • Turn right; then follow immediate bend in the road to the left onto McCullum St. Cross bridge and continue to 4-way stop at Allen's Lane approx. 1/2 mile.

  • Turn right and proceed another 1/2 mile to Wissahickon Avenue, continue for about 3 miles to Manheim Street. You will pass Lincoln Drive, Rittenhouse, School House Lane, Queen Lane before Manheim Street. Federal buildings will be on your right. This is a T-intersection.

  • Turn left and go about 1/4 mile to entrance of GCC on left. 

TO MERION CRICKET CLUB (MCC):

 

Haverford, Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA 19041

  • From PCC, turn right onto Willow Grove Avenue.

  • Take a left at stop sign at Cherokee Street.

  • Turn right at stop sign at Mermaid Lane. Follow bend in road until Allen's Lane.

  • Take a right. Proceed to Wissahickon Avenue.

  • Go left. Follow Wissahickon until Lincoln Drive about 1 1/2 miles.

  • Turn right. Continue on Lincoln Drive approx. another 2 miles to left exit onto City Avenue
    (Route I). Take City Avenue 1 1/2 miles to Montgomery.

  • Turn right and proceed 3 1/2 miles to light at Grays Lane, just past stone gates engraved "Haverford".

  • Turn right. Merion Cricket Club is immediately on your right.

 

from NEW YORK

 

to germantown cricket club (gcc):

 

Manheim and Morris Streets, Philadelphia

  • Take New Jersey turnpike South to Exit 6.

  • Take Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 28.

  • Route 1, South approximately 14 miles to Fox Street exit (Fox Street is 1.9 miles, past Broad Street/ Hunting Park Avenue exit) .

  • Turn right on Fox Street then right on Queen Lane 0.4 miles to first light, Wissahickon Avenue.

  • Turn Right again 0.2 mile to first light, Manheim Street.

  •  Turn Left 0.2 mile to GCC on left.

 

frOm south (delware country) using route 1 north (city avenue)

to germantown cricket club (gcc):

 

Manheim and Morris Streets, Philadelphia

  • At Monument Avenue, with Holiday Inn City Line on right, take lane marked 76 East to US 1 North Roosevelt Boulevard to second exit.
  • Wissahickon Avenue, North (not first exit, Wissahickon Avenue, South).
  • Stay on the right, watch for right turn, (Wissahickon Avenue sign) immediately after exit.
  • Keep bearing right to Wissahickon Avenue.
  • Right on Wissahickon Avenue 0.4 mile to Manheim (2nd light).
  • Right on Manheim Street 0.2 mile to GCC on the left.

 

frOm west

to germantown cricket club (gcc):

 

Manheim and Morris Streets, Philadelphia

  • PA Turnpike to Exit 24, Valley Forge.

  • Take 76 East (Schuykill Expressway) approximately 12 miles to Exit for US Route 1.

  • Now follow directions under heading FROM SOUTH, starting take lane marked to 76 East to...

to Philadelphia cricket club (PCC):

  • Exit the PA Turnpike at Norristown (Exit #333).
  • Take the right hand ramp to Route 422 East (Germantown Avenue).
  • Proceed east on Route 422 approximately 6 miles through the shopping area (Chestnut Hill) to Willow Grove Avenue (which is in the 8000 block of Germantown Avenue).
  • Take a right on Willow Grove Avenue and proceed to the Club approximately 1/2 mile on the right after the second stop sign (St. Martins Lane).

 

FROM EAST

to Philadelphia cricket club (PCC):

  • Exit the PA Turnpike at Ft. Washington (Exit #339).
  • After the toll booths take Route 309 South to the Paper Mill Road Exit (3.2 miles).
  • Take a right at the bottom of the ramp on Paper Mill Road, go to the second light (less than 1/2 mile) and take a left on Cheltenham Avenue.
  • Follow Cheltenham Avenue approximately 2 miles to the first light and take a right on Willow Grove Avenue.
  • The Club is on Willow Grove Avenue and will be on your right after 3 traffic lights and two stop signs (approximately 4 miles).
  • The third light is Germantown Avenue and the second stop sign is St. Martins Lane. 

 

From Center City Philadelphia

to Philadelphia cricket club (PCC):

  • Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) West (towards Valley Forge).
  • Exit I-76 at Exit 340A and follow signs to Lincoln Drive. Proceed on Lincoln Drive to dead end (approximately 5 miles).
  • Turn right on Allen's Lane and proceed to dead end (approximately 1/2 mile). Turn left onto Germantown Avenue.
  • Proceed on Germantown Avenue (approximately 2 miles) and turn left onto Willow Grove Avenue (traffic light and Brass Bed Store on left-hand corner at the 8000 block).
  • The club is on Willow Grove Avenue and will be (approximately 1/2 mile) on your right after the second stop sign (St. Martins Lane).
